The second large scale trials series (first series 2017-2018) on the benefits of the application of Flavonin®- technology in wine growing, was successfully closed with the harvest and evaluation of the results in May 2019.
Realistic parallel trials could be conducted at different considerable wineries, so that the results permit clear conclusions on the positive effects of Flavonin®- technology.
Flavonin® was either sprayed only twice through to flowering or during the whole cycle with 5 treatments. Evaluation parameter were weight, sugar content, contents of phenol, tannin and anthocyane.
We can summarize, that harvest yield and sugar content were increased on average about 10%. All quality parameters were met to the fullest satisfaction of the customers.
The trials will be continued through a third season – harvesting March-April 2020 – and order commitments for the season of 2020-2021 were already made.
